Almost two years ago, I faced a dilemma when I was offered two full master scholarships. The first one was from the Korean Government (KGPS scholarship) and the second one was from the Imaginarious Organization in Poland. I then decided to go to Poland. Now, I can absolutely say that I made the right decision. It is my honor to share with you some brief thoughts of studying here.

I am Huyen Le. I graduated with the bachelor in Banking and International Finance before coming to Poland.
I was granted with the Imaginarius Scholarship to study Quantitative Finance at University of Warsaw in two years and I am sincerely grateful for that. I hope that my testimonial here will help you to understand more about the scholarship, the country and also the education that you can receive if you choose Poland.
Firstly, the scholarship has brought me the opportunities to experience a new culture and live in a new country. Polish people were helpful and friendly to me from the moment I landed in the Chopin Airport. From the very basic needs, such as accommodation, I was supported by the Imaginarius organization and the university. Moreover, Poland is also rich of tradition, cuisine and marvelous natural landscapes for me to explore and immerse in. And if you are ever afraid of learning new language, English is spoken by almost all young people in Poland and the Vietnamese community here is large and supportive.
Secondly, the Faculty of Economic Sciences where I studied was ideal for both academic advancement and practical application. The program has provided me with not only new and necessary knowledge, such as programming and quantitative analysis but also the research skills. Besides, I received a lot of support from the professors and faculty staff as well as my classmates during the course of my master degree. The facility of the university is continuously improved and modernized. Additionally, being a student in Europe, I was given the chance to live and study in Italy for 4 months under the Erasmus Plus grant. It was a precious chance to enjoy the education in another country in Europe and expand my perspective.
Finally, as an energetic economy in the center of Europe, attracting many multi-national companies, Poland also provided me with the chance to accumulate my working experience, especially through internships.

More than two years ago, before I decided to come to Poland for this study, I was a business advisor in a Japansese firm in Hanoi.
